A 2007 Resolution

In a cloud of inspiration one year ago, I said 2006 would be the year of 'reward'. I think it was on some fronts, mostly financial. However I feel it would more aptly be titled the year of punishment for relationships. Thank god 2006 is done.
2007 is here and there is no inner voice telling me how to look at the forthcoming 12 months, no vision, nothing. I'm wary too of saying something significant and getting the opposite...

So I've thought short and soft about it and now I have my answer:
2007 is going to be the year of moomoo dresses and cassette glasses.
Now I can't be disappointed with the results.

Happy New Year!!
Glad you are back!
Do you have something like Moomoo dresses for guys? Like Moomoo trousers or sth like that?
Perhaps Moomoo shoes would be cool.

oh dear! All my comments are getting 'junked'. Just found them... thanks guys, Perhaps I am being watched after all.

Re: moomoos. Well, I may have a picture of a bloke wearing this particular moomoo dress on NYE! It was surprisingly fetching. But alas I think it may offend those in Papua New Guinean culture. This is where I bought it and it was called a 'mary dress' which means woman's dress. Simply wouldn't be seen on a man. But I challenge you Jaimes to make yourself some moomoo items, the only rule is to make sure you look like a COW in it! :)

Wow! Didn't know what moomoo was really- I'll ask my sister, she lives in NZ. Anyhow I will find something to look like a bull, rather like a cow, cause I'm spanish, anyway. And if not, I will go for beeebeee which might be a good alternative for moomoo's.

Hi, I just stumbled across your blog, and I was pleased to read of your mu-mu resolution. (I spell it mu-mu.) My mother wore them in the 70s, and then they passed down to the dress-up box so I have fond memories of trying to wear them as a kid and tripping up on them. I'd wear them to paint in.
Also, coincidentally, my housemate expressed the desire for one today, because of the heat and the aftereffects of a large lunch.
Go mu mu!

Hey Vanessa. I also spelt it as mumu... until I wrote that entry. A new interpretation! :)
Glad you stumbled across me. Don't you love synchronicity!
The Perth whether has been major mumu territory.
