Chalked Dreams
Once
We wrote a list on the wall of the things we would do together
to ensure we would never forget one of them.
When it ended I realised that we never did do one of things on the wall.
It was a contrived dream that we wrote about more than we lived it.

i guess dreaming and planning aren't enough on their own, but they do count for something. i hope next time it's someone who also works at making the dreams come true (corny as that sounds!).
