Your life will seem very full and exciting after you read this
Today I was bored. Real bored. I had been killing time in Bunno when I thought I would adjust the settings on my computer (I had already cleaned out my sock draw, checked my emails, hand washed my delicates and sent text messages to my entire phone book you see)
I happened upon the screen saver setting. This was new for me. I normally just use Word, and even that is a struggle sometimes. I discovered (no one knew about this until I found it) that you can type in your own choice of text and use that as your screen saver. It’s the ‘marquee’ option (in case you too would like to be as clever and computer savvy as I am). I thought marquee’s were for outdoor summer weddings, but you know these computer things - they’re so wacky sometimes.
I really didn’t know what to write to be honest with you. Like I said, I had been in Bunbury all day, so I hadn’t seen or heard anything inspiring. Then I started to get a bit embarrassed. The marquee was asking me a simple question and I was having trouble answering it. How would I ever withstand the endless interview circuit of a D-list celebrity when I became one?
It was a real process before I tappy-tapped some words in there. Hmmm (that’s me thinking). “Eat your greens,” but I already do that. “I love my Mum and Dad,” yeah, so what. “Go for a run you pasty white, slightly overweight, mid-twenties frizz head,” but I wouldn’t do that… not even if my marquee told me to.
So I nicked some words, straight out of a book. I didn’t think of them, but I like them. And, as an afterthought, they came close to being some kind of compromise on the pasty white, slightly overweight words that I had toyed with earlier.
“I don’t even know what I was running for, I guess I just felt like it..”

let's see now...
It was that kind of a crazy afternoon, terrifically cold, and no sun out or anything, and you felt like you were disappearing every time you crossed a road.

fuck you're funny green.
And the great thing is that I get to enjoy your humour for free on most days. (except the days that you make me pay for your dinner, entertainment and face cream).
love ya. x
